As mentioned on the http://cyberactivist.blogspot.com/(blog), I spoke at Farm Sanctuary's Walk in Nashville, TN last weekend on the 2nd. Here are some of the pictures from that event. More to come, so sign up to receive notifications of updates to this page if you were there and would like to see them and add copies of them to your photo albums. I also have some of individuals that I won't share unless given express permission, especially one showing a couple of cute kids that were there.**
We had a great turnout, and I hope there are even more people next year. This event, raised $1500 for Farm Sanctuary and brought awareness to many of the general public. What a complete success! Thanks go to Billye for organizing it and inviting me and opening her home to Laura and me. She has a wonderful family and kids to be proud of. Her beautiful teenage daughter is turning into an exceptional young woman that I was inspired to meet. She will no doubt also make a wonderful mother some day, if she decides to have a family. (I know Billye is in no rush for that! Huh, Billye?! LOL!)
Thanks to everyone that came. If you have any photos to share, please send them. These have also been added to the http://groups.yahoo.com/group/activistsagainstfactoryfarming/(Yahoo group's) photo album.
If you are in the Nashville area and would like to link up with like-mided people in your area, check out keaven Van Lom's group, Speak Out For Animals (SOFA) at http://nashvillesofa.com/Main.htm. We would love to have you there next year!
**UPDATE**Got permission from Chrissy to put that picture up now and identify them, so I have now included it.
